I do understand the revulsion; I find it very hard to dispose of physical books, even when they are old and tatty. But books, recent mass market books, are fungible. When my children were small, I didn't want to buy into the "books are special" idea at school. Books should be everyday items.

Y and Z were swapped in March, but not apparently earlier. The thing is it's using an English keyboard and processing the input to give kana and predictive text, rather than using a Japanese (I have several installed) keyboard. At one point it told me I needed to type "null".

Somehow I managed to get my keyboard in a floating window. Panic panic. It covered what I was trying to type. I suspect that I shouldn't have tapped the keyboard icon in Duolingo.
