After four years with an iPhone 12, I finally upgraded to an iPhone 16 Pro. Thus far I love the new phone and especially love the camera functionality. The zoom feature is amazing! While standing on my back deck a couple of days ago, I took this closeup of the moon. Came out sharper than I expected.

My wife and I have bundled up and are going to spend the next 2-3 hours picking up trash along the country highway that connects to our long driveway. I wish we could throw out the trash, but picking it up seems like the next best thing.

Los Angeles fires

I've been a Tampa Bay Bucs fan my entire life. But over the years, I've started to get so upset watching the games live that my wife is afraid I'll have a stroke or something. I now record the games and only watch them if the Bucs win. Are any of you like that with any sport? Or am I the exception?

When my wife and I built our mountain home, we sacrificed an oversized bathtub for a 2-person dry sauna. I do miss the occasional bath, but the sauna sure comes in handy on snowy days like this, and it's easy to cool off between sessions just by walking out naked in the snow.
