This picture was taken outside the former teacher training college Whitelands College, on the Kings Road in Chelsea - then the British Union of Fascist's Headquarters known as "The Black House. It was purchased with financial help from Benito Mussolini in 1933.#RidleyRoad

Paddington Station was an important milk depot. The population of London in the 19th century grew rapidly and farms were increasingly outside the city. By the 20th century over 3,000 milk churns were handled at the station every day. This photograph was taken in around 1905.
