I bike everywhere, except when visiting #CasperWyoming. Lovely town, safe streets, bike trails..and THE WIND. #Wyoming truly earns its windiest state title—semi-trucks tip over on the regular. Biking 4km to the store in Dec. is risking a flight over the mountain🤣 December #cyclists: real troopers.

I was on the bus after waiting for it to arrive, I think it was around 28 min. I wanted to walk but had 4 bags with me. The man in the photo “cracked open” his Pinot Grigio tetra pack and started drinking it. I was SO JEALOUS 🤣 Everyone who waited for that stupid bus deserved some Pinot Grigio.

I gave $5 to a homeless person who needed to use a toilet and to grab a coffee. He went into the coffee shop and exited right away. They do not accept cash and toilets are for customers only. There are no public toilets anywhere in the area. This is bullshit, #Toronto

Chatting with a fellow cyclist who lives in Chengdu (China). About 95% of their cycling network (over 100km constantly expanding) is 95% separated from car traffic. Then he asked what Toronto’s cycling network is like and I want to cry. Yes yes Chengdu is a HUGE city but our gov is ripping ours out!

Really enjoyed my dry peach cider on the patio of Golden Mill in Golden, #Colorado. It’s a really nice walkable little town, really great for young families. Lots of great street furniture, trails and A LOT of fun structures for kids to climb on. Traffic is nice and slow, respecting pedestrians.

I have seen so many people using #cargobikes to transport their kids & groceries near Washington Park #Denver, it is so nice! I’ll explore more of this city next time I visit.

More pedestrianized streets, like what we’re enjoying on Market St, would add to our quality of life in Toronto. The reality is, allowing walkable streets, along with cafes & corner stores in neighborhoods, isn’t radical. It’s normal almost everywhere else on Earth. Let’s do it.

Lack of street furniture = you are not a pedestrian-friendly city. Toronto comes to mind.

Super windy along the Lake.. my bike ride to the gym was a workout in itself. I’m so much happier since switching to a 24hr gym, there is no one there at 4am! Yay

On the GO train.. it takes 29 whole minutes (4stops in the city of Toronto) to go from Long Branch to Union. It took me 9 hours to travel from Toronto to Montreal (Via Rail), something that should have taken 4 hours at the most with backwards Canadian rail system. This is why people drive 😭

If a plain-clothed fare inspector approaches me to check my credit card or Presto card, I’m not complying. F OFF, TTC #Toronto
