Good news: the largest state in the country, which is all on its own the 4th largest economy in the world (having recently overtaken Japan), now gets the largest amount of its electricity from solar, and that trend is set to continue.

Even better you should have categories for atheists, agnostics, & nothing in particulars. Self-consciously secular folks are not the same as folks who just say "I'm nothing really." I've made the mistake of having broad "secular" or "unaffiliated" categories & I likely ignored important variation.

Pro-tip if you're studying religion's influence on anything: Disaggregate your "nones." Don't use a general "unaffiliated" category. Minimum you need "atheist/agnostic" & "nothing in particular" categories. Cuz those two groups are NOT the same. Huge differences on political outcomes and much else.
