P7s have had some time with their little buddies this week to spend time with them before they leave! Some cards, games, and a cartoon were a lovely start to our morning.

We enjoyed working with our p1 buddies. Here we are demonstrating to them how to wire circuits. We also encouraged them to try some challenge wiring too.

We have recently learnt all about how alcohol can affect areas of your body. In pairs, we labelled and matched organs of the body to the effect alcohol has on them.

More Class Talks this afternoon (which were fab) and painting our New Zealand clay models.

This week and last week, we have been learning about growing up and looking after a baby! Here we are having some fun with Mrs Casey and her challenges.

We sculpted, pinched, smoothed, carved, and created a clay model based on something from New Zealand today!

We started our class Talks today based on an area of interest from WW2. The children really impressed me! Really informative talks so far. Well done p7

Well done to all the P7 Sports Leaders today. Wonderful sports leadership for our infant department.

Kind and offering to support p3 with some Digital Literacy Skills.

Numeracy outdoors for a half hour today as we enjoyed some sun! We practised some column method multiplication.

We had a play and practise of different games for times tables warm ups. We even made some of our own pelmanism games.

Rugby in the morning sun. Today, we are working on possession.

A great say at DHS Stem event with the p7s. They planned, created, and then tested their rockets. Some even made amendments too and retested to gain better distance! Amazing problem solving on show. Super work!

Some of us have finished our Blitz scenes. How lovely does this silhouette and pastel scene look! A great example of art skills set and achieved.

Thanks to the wonderful parent who sent in some WW2 artefacts from her collection. It was super fun exploring and discussing some of the items together!

After learning all about The Clydebank Blitz, we used design skills to create our own gas masks today for our WW2 display wall.

Since returning, we have learnt about why WW2 happened. Today, we were working in groups to find out more about the allies and axis world leaders.

After listing the main ideas of chapters 1 and 2, we made our own colourful covers for Carrie's War on our devices.

In leading the learning food tech, we made chocolate mini egg twists and decorated Easter biscuits.

The Spring sunshine has helped our marshmallow trees bud today. #antoeco

We made a scavenger hunt for our p1 buddies and then enjoy some relaxing Easter Zentangles.
