Got my M+30 Key done for the transmog in Legion Remix. It was a +31 since I failed the +32 due to a bug with the dungeon that was given to me. That's nearly everything done that you can do in Remix, now to just keep grinding more powers and leveling alts for unlocks!

Today I lost someone who was truly like a brother to me. I am gutted to the core. I guess I can say so now that it's on his Facebook page. He even listed himself as my actual brother on Facebook. Anyone who knows me knows how close we were. RIP, senpai. You will always be a ninja.

My system has been running pretty good with minimal issues until I tried to change a resolution in a full screen game from twenty years ago. It hard killed the entire system instead of just the game until I went into the ini to force windowed mode. I am both impressed and confused!

After about 3 days of work, I got DLSS to work on NVK (the open source NVIDIA driver in Mesa)! 🎉 DLSS is essentially just some launched Cuda kernels, so it was just a matter of implementing the VK_NVX_binary_import and VK_NVX_image_view_handle extensions. 1/5 (Control, 960x540 -> 1920x1080)

Reading the Financial Times article about how ~three years ago social media usage "peaked" and due to AI slop and all the other stuff usage around the world is significantly down (~2.5hr a day) The exception being US+Canada where it's actually gone up more than all the others.. frustrating.

social media is exhausting to look at any feed on any platform lately for me, but I enjoy looking through neocities and other personal websites of that nature

Someone was also on the same bugged quest as I am and it turns out, when two people join forces the quest is less buggy. So we spent the ten minutes it took for the two of us to do all the things and made some memes about it and had fun. Definitely a nice evening!

One thing I really appreciate about the World of Warcraft and Guild Wars (2) communities over any other is that they have a huge, constantly updated and supported community wiki. You don't have to hop in a discord or ask a streamer or see a video for stuff, it's just all there and always up to date.

World of Warcraft is like Guild Wars 2 once in a while. aka there is a random bug in a random instance/quest that is known by the dev team but goes unfixed for years simply because the alternative solution is just... grind it out (45m++ of effort) or come back to it when you outlevel the scaling.
