Had laser treatment yesterday to remove clouding of the replacement lenses in my eyes at Addenbrookes hospital. Brilliant care. All the team were born outside UK. Felt like hugging each of them (didn’t!). Felt shame at the anti-migration rhetoric they have to endure. We would be lost without them.
