Every AI "prototype" I have seen looks like a full-scale render — why? Surely it's harder to create something unique from something that looks "finished." "It's just a placeholder! It will be replaced!" I don't believe replacing it is ever the intention, it's just a post-discovery excuse.

You do not need AI to protoype anything in video games. You do not need AI for placeholders in video games. This is a flat lie.
