Our house has this giant wooden picnic table in the back. It was looking work out and gray. I got a splinter so we decided to sand it down before family came to visit. This is what it looks like after using the sander from the library and rubbing it down with oil.

I walked through this exhibit at SFO on the women of Afrofuturism and was so delighted to see Octavia Butler, Janelle Monae, Mae C Jemisin, NK Jemisin, and Nichelle Nichols portrayed, along with the art of Alisha B. Wormsley.
