The ICC's additional 10% funding for associate nations is welcome. For Scotland that is around $150-200K which is a helpful boost but it's already mostly been eaten up by inflation and devaluation of the US dollar over the last year.

Breaking: Australia Women have lost a game of cricket! Australia women are out of the World Cup. This is not a drill! Looked easy as they rattled up 338 against hosts India, but Jemima Rodrigues' 127 led her team home in amazing style. Australia dropped her twice and paid the price. Fabulous!

ICC top brass have been notably absent in terms of fronting up to media - to explain how they came to certain decisions - or just to make a formal apology to players, officials & groundstaff, for repeatedly making them perform this predictable farce.

Much, merited criticism of England in the last year - as well as a share of luck in the last few weeks. But we've questioned their bottle in pressure moments, so they deserve plenty of credit for how they've managed to get over the line in this World Cup.

Bringing Capsey into the attack is NOT a sign that England have "multiple options", Anjum Chopra! It's the opposite! Honestly think this game is ultimately gonna expose their decision to play a batter-heavy XI. NSB probably can't bowl much more - they will have to lean on Capsey - far from ideal.
