Ofcom’s broadcasting code requires that factual programmes “must not materially mislead the audience” and that “news, in whatever form, must be reported with due accuracy and presented with due impartiality” But they don't seem to be enforcing the rules when it comes to climate misinformation.

The Environmental Audit Committee are very clear here that the government are making decisions which seriously endanger the UK's climate commitments - and they simply haven't done the sums properly, either on emissions or on the claimed economic benefits.
