I don’t love the idea of Nicholas Jackson but I do think if everybody takes the fact Bayern wanted Woltemade as proof of quality, you’ve got to practice what you preach and do the same for Jackson. If the difference is £5/10m between him and Wissa, I think the smart thing is to take Jackson.

My 3 year old son likes four songs at the moment. The two Adam Buxton songs from his new album, Brown Sugar by the Rolling Stones and The Duck Song by The Duck. He’s complex.

Really enjoying The Alters, something I wouldn’t have ordinarily picked up. The score is bleak in a great way, it does silly/serious in the right amounts and I appreciate any game that nails a gameplay loop like this. Game Pass isn’t perfect but this kind of addition makes it so much better.

Big fan of tying down Big Dan. Centre Backs of his style age slower, can’t lose pace you don’t have! He can still do the business as a first team CB but having him as a rotation option in future is just smart squad building.

People might brand it tinpot or desperate but sheeesh I still watch the cup final and PSG highlights about once a week and get embarrassingly emotional about it all. After years of nothing, I don’t know if my heart can take any more joy 😂 #NUFC
