Now that’s a transformation! What was once a neat lawn at Berrington Hall in Herefordshire is now a vibrant space for pollinators. Over 53,000 plants make up the new flower garden, which draws inspiration from a garden that was originally part of ‘Capability’ Brown’s design but lost over time.

🦋 Second butterfly count of the day! Swung by the allotment for a quick harvest - and couldn’t resist a butterfly headcount while I was there! I also spotted a Hummingbird hawk moth on arrival. I had to do a double take, I was so surprised to see it there! #butterflyconservation #bigbutterflycount

A January Fun Fact: Here's the cool thing about moths in January - they are one of the few insects that can be seen actively pollinating in the chilly UK winter. While most other pollinators are dormant, these winter-hardy moths are out doing their job, pollinating the few winter-blooming plants.💪❄️
