Apparently while I still have ”earned” PTO to use, the intermittent FMLA just gets changed to PTO. The FMLA part of it is that I can’t lose my job for taking PTO for headaches and anxiety attacks.

40 hours a week was doable when I was 25 years old. 40 hours a week now that I’m in my 40s and have two kids is just not feasible for my body or mental health anymore.

Stay at home parents absolutely work. They are just not paid for their labor. Funding a Spousal IRA is a signal that your spouse sees you as the other half of a partnership and not secondary simply because you aren’t currently earning income.

Kids don’t listen to me. But then they both yell at the other kid to do the thing I told them to do. For example, I tell B to do something, then A yells at them to do that thing, and B gets upset that A is bossing them around. And vice versa. 🫠
