As much as I hate to do this, as my "My Thoughts on SAGE 20XX" is one of, if not my biggest video of the year, I am going to have to postpone it. No video this week, been up most of the night with a fever. NGL not saying it is, but feels like dengue fever

Probably going to be mia on social media over the next two days or so, or not as active as usual. This video, is normally one that would take me a week to write, yet I only had yesterday and today to write. And all of this is due to SAGE 2025 having so many amazing games.

My goals for this week: -Get my video on my Thoughts on SAGE 25 out -Get Next Week's video written -Make space for SHC games

With the closing stream finished, #SAGE2025 is officially over and them post SAGE blues are hitting me hard... but in less than a week #SHC starts, so game on fam!

THE SEAL IS REAL

Finally finished my play through of every #SAGE2025 game I could play. I ended up playing 84 fan games, 140 Indie games, 2 hacks/mods, & 4 frameworks for a total of 230 out of 300 games, though I attempted to play 253, 23 I could not run.

Bombun by @kekitopu.bsky.social is an incredible platformer set in a beautifully made world, featuring a cute and explosive carrying Bunny. Going into SAGE it was one of my most anticipated games and it definitely delivered on both cuteness and platforming fronts! #SAGE2025 #indiegames

Sonic Adventure Advanced was one of my most anticipated fan games at SAGE this year and it did not disappoint! It did a great job of combining both fast paced 2D Sonic gameplay with the story telling of Sonic Adventure. Def give this one a play. #SAGE2025

Telegeddon was one of the most unique games I have ever came across at #SAGE2025 Defeat apocalyptic TVs by completing WarioWare-esque microgames, only much more unique. Also the setting sets it apart too. It is set in the futuristic world of 1999! (The catch is it's not Earth)

Did You Know Gaming? SAGE Edition

Polyroll Pocket @SpicyGyroGames was one of my most anticipated games at #SAGE2025 and for good reason! It is an amazing Sonic like game with some amazing game play mechanics. I have never seen a game implement wall jump nor moving stage mechanics as well as this one! A must play!

Hyper Bun Buster was pretty damn hard game to put down. It was simple, yet well executed. it has some great battle mechanics and was super cute. Could easily see this being a comfort game. #SAGE2025

Greeny The Blox feels like it was made with a lot of love for the classic Sonic series. In many ways the game play & even the music feels Sonic inspired. Visually you can see a Sonic influence but also some Yoshi Island inspiration. Give this one a play! #SAGE2025

Dungeon Gals is a deeply imaginative & gorgeous game inspired by Wario Land 3 & Zelda. The visuals seem like they were inspired by the SNES era of gaming, but they look far more stunning than anything from it. The mechanics really set this one apart. #SAGE2025

Dono's Tale is like a love letter to SNES era platforming. Elements from some of the best platformers from that epoch have been drawn on here. The stages are each well crafted & pleasing to the eye and look very era accurate. & Dono is quite the adorable mascot! #SAGE2025

Deep West is another really interesting game, It is done in GBC style w/ a really unique setting, under water old west. Most importantly the game play is fun & addictive. I had a hard time stopping when it was time to move on to the next game. It is a solid platformer #SAGE2025

A common question I get during SAGE: How do you play 250-300+ games in one week? I tend to only spend 5-10 minutes per game, maybe 15 if I am really feeling it. In addition, some of these are demos and can completed in some cases less than 5 minutes. #SAGE2025

I had the pleasure of playing @cheesimoon.bsky.social's Atstropod's demo at #SAGE2025 & it was one of the most unique platforming experiences I have ever had & (here is something I have never said about a game) I really enjoyed the boss fights. The fight mechanics make it so fun. #indiegames

Archa is an interesting game. It has an interesting game play philosophy, think a run-n-gun (w/ not so much running) mixed w/ a traditional platformer like Mario, with a dash of collect-a-thon. The aesthetics here, both the visuals and the music are what I really love, #SAGE2025

I am really excited to see Polyroll Pocket at #SAGE2025 I have heard a lot of amazing things about this game from the #indiedev community. Looking forward to get my hands on this demo!

Just tried the @AdventNeon demo at #SAGE2025 & having been following this project for years am thoroughly impressed with it. It is an action packed, high intensity platformer that seemingly combines elements of Sonic, Megaman, Vectorman, & Dragon Ball into one amazing experience.

Finally finished downloading the fan games and now on to the indies and the first indie dev has a sense of humor. I love that.

Kira-Kira CatGirl Rampage is another amazing game I saw on the pre-show and I really believe this one is going to be something special. The character design, level design, and the gameplay is firing on all cylinders! Looking forward to checking this one out soon! #SAGE2025

One thing I love about attempting to play all of the games at SAGE is that there are always at least a couple of games that there trailer will cause me to sleep on them, but when I play them are actually amazing. Looking forward to seeing which games surprise me this year.

Admittedly, as a duck/goose I am a bit biased, but MechaWing is going to be an amazing game!

SAGE starts today. Going to probably spend the first 2 days just downloading everything. So I probably will not be around much this week, outside of occasionally posting about my experiences with certain games. I plan to enjoy this SAGE like it will be my last.

Finished my spring cleaning before SAGE. It's been forever since my computer has had so much free space.

The trailer for this year's SAGE just dropped. SAGE is going to have 230 games this year! Unfortunately I caught the trailer in the middle of the premiere. I am going to go back and watch the whole thing and then share my thoughts here.

With SAGE starting Friday, I am just sitting around nerding out... which is not necessarily good cause I got to get this video finished by Friday, still it feels good to be able to be active in the community especially after the past few months.

I am going to be recording one of, if not my most important of my yearly videos today. My yearly games to check out a SAGE this year video, which will be releasing during SAGE week.
