What are people's opinions on living worlds for TTRPG'S? I joined 2 of them before for Humblewood and had a terrible experience. I could never get into anything, was ignored constantly and it was extremely obvious that the runners were playing favorites. I've still had no luck finding -

Damn. After my last push to find a starfinder game kinda fizzled, I went to look at all of the sources I used to look up weekly for stuff and I see...nothing. Do people just not play this game?

I just wish I knew where to look. I've also kinda come to the realization that some tables absolutely hate anthropomorphic characters, no matter what. Thinking back on it, I think that's what got me kicked out of the last group I was in.

I came so tantalizingly close to getting in a Starfinder game but no dice. It really hurts but I guess the search continues.

Today...ended up a bit better than I thought. Very affirming day indeed.

I think I'm going to step back from tabletop gaming. I get so invested in it that I want to do the best I can, but clearly people treat this as more of a disposable hobby, and considering how many times I've had my expectations betrayed, it's...just not worth the pain. At least, not now.

Sometimes I wonder if I'm here. To be loved, observed and cared for. And to wonder how many versions of me have accomplished those goals. While the me that I know the best continues to fail at everything. But I'm still something. I guess. It's about all I can do.

I think it's important sometimes to just take a step back from the news for your mental health. I used to be pretty adamant on keeping up to date with things, to know what I should be avoiding and what things I need to keep myself safe. But with things how they are, I just can't handle it anymore.

It's maddening enough it's happened once, but it's happened to me about 4 times now and it's just tiring. It's tiring to think people honestly say this type of shit and think its okay. And then think saying "I'm just kidding." is an appropriate defense. I hate being online so much. :(

I swear this always happens to me. I find a D&D group online and for a few months it's cool. I'm having a good time, I'm digging the story and things are going great. Then one night after a game we're talking and someone says a slur and it ruins my whole night. Why does this keep happening to me?
