Got my college reflections and reporting done. Writing up the first skills work sessions was time-consuming, but maybe the feedback I get from this will let me know a quicker way. Now enjoying a late, light lunch with some TV before I dive into Revelation again for Homegroup.

Need to get some college and homegroup work done this afternoon, but I seem to have acquired a little companion for the purpose. His name is Peko and he's a temporary lodger.

Okay, we've got our of bed slowly, put some laundry on to wash, had breakfast and hammered a little. I should probably have a shower and tidy up this mess next, huh?

Have been playing Observer: System Redux these last two nights and I just got to a monster I have to run away from, two or three hours into a walking simulator/investigation horror and I think that's quite unreasonable, really and am probably not gonna bother going back. 1/2

TBF, it's become clear a migraine is involved. My scalp feels all tingly on the left hand side, there's a mugginess inside and that ear feels full and uncomfortable. My migraines are weird, but still.

Afternoon nap was lovely. Groggy forty minutes it took me to wake up from said nap less so.

Continuing my phase of playing short, weird games, I just completed Observation. What a fascinating premise and engaging plot. Shame about the bugs and the extremely difficult to navigate space station (but then, that's part of the point, I guess).

I've been taking photos of trees that catch my eye this week, mainly to send to him, but there's no reason you can't enjoy them as well! I love the ones where the autumn sunset gives them a little dress rehearsal.

I really hate being this conflict averse sometimes. Even online arguments stress me out too much.

My landlady is back to watching her Islamophobic vids. She's generally a pretty tolerant person, albeit with a tendency towards capital C Conservatism, but these shorts are completely blinkering her. They focus on *bad things* done by Muslims with no recognition that everyone else does them too. 😮‍💨

Have a selfie whilst I wait. I've noticed that, despite distance and whatever else, merely dating someone has rather dramatically reduced the number of selfies I take. Which is probably a good sign, I think. My self worth is bound up in other things (and maybe those are issues too, but still 😬😅).

And now I've arrived too early. Awkward.

I slept in way later than I thought I would this morning, which isn't great, since I have to connect my daughter from her church. 😬 There's time, it's just tighter than I prefer and no time to do some other things I wanted to get sorted first.

Finished playing my way to one if the good endings of The Invincible this evening. I was impressed by his well they brought to life a vision of the future from the 1960s without making it feel dumbed down or so anachronistic as to ruin suspension of disbelief. It was a good adventure, too.
