It's been a bit of a day, but thankfully it's quieter this afternoon. Combined with bisopralol withdrawal for the past week, my heart rate has been through the roof and I honestly just wanted to cry earlier. This is why I don't want to be a manager again! *breathes* Ok. Two and a half hours to go!

Being in charge all week with low staff makes me very anxious, even though it's been absolutely fine so far. The better weather today might result in us being busier though and I'm pre-stressing which is *very* helpful. 🙄

Enjoying watching Looking, but it also keeps making me anxious. Everything Agustin does makes me worry something's going to go horribly wrong. Patrick's whole situation leaves me worried how he's going to get hurt but also how's much he'll end up hurting others, like Richie. Even Dom worries me! 😬😅

Anyone else have trouble getting through books of short stories? I love them, they can be incredible, I've even write a load, but it's the constant restarting, resetting - task switching, I suppose. There's comfort in already being in the middle of a story you're enjoying with lots more of it to go.

Low staff and I'm in charge again! At least we haven't had yesterday's continuous run of customers from opening up through lunch breaks.

Okay, so this was a disaster. The boxes are way smaller than I thought they'd be cos I'm an idiot and they're moulded so badly that the wheels won't fit on any of them. So, now I've just given myself another task I have to find a way of completing (returning them) with no benefits!

My storage boxes have arrived! \o/ Although, unfortunately, this means doing something with them and I've had a day, but I also don't want a box of boxes adding to the chaos of my room. An episode of Looking first, though, s'il vous plait.

I finally did some of my college work. So much easier doing it in the college library than even attempting it at home, but I've got a plan which I hope will help me achieve a bit more at home so I'm feeling a lot better.

Ugh, I don't want to go to college today... or ever again. Just have to push through these feelings because they are deeply unhelpful and not representative of how I feel about this course overall.

You know I very nearly wrote something today.

I kinda want to do a summary of the discourse and news I've seen surrounding Heated Rivalry, cos it's insane in both positive and negative directions, but there's so much! I don't recall a show ever having this much impact with only one season. And that it's adaptation of a smut novel... 😵

Part of the problem is that I'm feeling a bit low myself. Imposter syndrome leading to negative self-talk, plus low energy, low motivation. At the surface I'm fine, but deeper down there's an imbalance and I'm too tired to do much about it. Perhaps it's just January. 🤷‍♂️

Feeling a lot of different things this weekend but finding them hard to express. My guy in South Wales has been pretty low, but has this week taken steps to get the help he needs and I'm really proud of him for that, but only having limited ways to support him is frustrating and I worry.
