On Monday I was out with our Neighborhoods team installing SUDS planters and 'Nature Arc' planters, to help provide habitat for invertebrates, hedgehogs, amphibians and more, while helping to save water as well. #Nature in #Housing #WorldBeeDay

Our meadow area are starting to bloom in the East of England, providing nectar to pollinators, and habitat to other small wildlife. We've mapped out meadow areas in 130 more communities this year, with 22 football pitches worth of grassland under this management now. #Nature in #Housing

Did you know... magnolia evolved on earth about 95 million years ago! Magnolia is so old in fact that it pre-dates the existence of bees and butterflies, meaning they relied on beetles to pollinate in their early days.

Our Gardening Team have been working with our #Arboriculture Team to protect green spaces from car damage by using logs from felled trees. Creating dead wood habitat for invertebrates and reducing waste. Great example of green space management for #nature and people. #biodiversity #housing

We recently held sessions with @gardenorganicuk.bsky.social for our in-house gardening teams. The sessions covered techniques to boost biodiversity in green spaces and garden sustainably & gave them an opportunity to get stuck in planting hedge plants and wildflower seeds.

Our research group looks at a broad range of topics, is fairly diverse in terms of views, approaches and demographic characteristics. But we will continue to strictly enforce our "no Nazis" rule.
