@ivgd1.bsky.social and @mikeclaytongolf.bsky.social spent this morning at Golf de Fontainebleau. Course walk with the committee to discuss the next phase of our restoration. Also a chance to reintroduce Clayts to a tree he can't touch and the local cuisine. Apres c'est toujours mieux.

This afternoon's course walk at Hallamshire in Sheffield. Clayts' search for teeing angles found a new extreme when he was found on the roof of a hut on the 17th. Inspected @ivgd1.bsky.social 's new 14th hole which is growing in well.

Attention all Atlas Pass members of Golf Club Atlas. Messrs Clayton and DeVries will be interviewed by Ran and Drew next Tuesday afternoon US time = Weds morning Australian time.

One of the best sausage rolls in the business and the usual great view of Canary Wharf were modest comforts during yesterday afternoon's gales at The Addington.

A glorious afternoon for yesterday's visit to CM John McLoughlin at Wallasey. This winter's work has included the construction of a short game practice area which will open in May and the addition of closely mown areas within several green complexes. Kudos to him for driving such improvements.

Eindhoven's 16th fairway is reasonably wide and straight, which is handy if you need to land your plane and have a game with Dai Rees, who was stationed nearby, as Field Marshal Montgomery did towards the end of WWII.
