Our partner Frank Pont has been appointed to advise Sutton Coldfield GC in Birmingham, England. Originally laid out in the late 19th century, Alister MacKenzie was retained after WW1 to revitalise the course, the revised version finally opening in 1934. 📷: SCGC

Played all 18 at Seven Mile Beach yesterday with Goggy, Dave McKenzie and Steph Bunque. It’s getting there - The 13th - short 4. 14 Down the hill into the dunes. Par 3. And 3 - the long 5 swinging right across the top of the property.

The first phase of work is under way at Golf de Fontainebleau. Frank & Hendrik are overseeing the renovation of bunkers on 5 holes restoring Simpson's lacy edges. We shall be exposing more of the rocks that adorn the site and intend to regenerate more heather.

A stunning spring day at Royal West Norfolk, Brancaster. We said farewell again to James Furber, a dear friend who passed last year and whose ashes were scattered behind the 9th green in full view of the harbour. He would have loved such a day. RIP.
