Seeing the Zitting Cisticola reported and not having time to go view reminded me I had taken a few photos of one collecting nesting material in Tigaki wetlands back in May #birds

This Grasshopper Warbler popped up 15ft in front of me when sitting scoping for raptors around Ystradfellte, don’t know who was more surprised me or the bird. #birds

Came across 2 Hobbies(pic) hunting in Glasfynydd forestry also Sparrowhawk(pic) with dinner. Several Red Kites and Buzzards circling around and a Peregrine flyby with young in tow calling.

See Red Kites daily and take 000’s of photos and rarely post them , thought I’d share this one though with the Pied Wagtail harassing the Kite. #birds

Seen plenty of Bee-eaters when in Kos usually distant or heard chattering flying high above feeding. Took advantage to take these photos when they were flying around the valleys below Antimachia fortress when visiting.

I was lucky enough to get great views of this colourful Roller when on holidays in Kos recently.

Back up to see the 4 Dotterels this morning, 1M and 1F decided to come within 2 yards of me and go to sleep so couldn’t move until they were ready. Lots of Larks-pipits and wheatear around and Gropper heard on the way up.
