I had a blast playing Vast Grimm at a con, so I just bought the book. It's a very colorful, unique space setting. Also been preparing to run Brindlewood Bay, which is old-ladies murder mystery themed. Not exactly my favorite genre, but an absolutely beautifully designed extension of PbtA mechanics.

I used this [Sci-Fi Spaceship Generator](www.rolegenerator.com/en/module/sp...) w/ Traveller geomorphs from Pearce Design Studio, LLC to run an Eclipse Phase #TTRPG session in a large, luxury habitat.

I made it weird.

Still workshopping my grand, overarching theory of #TTRPG prep. I know it looks chaotic, but it's really quite simple: "Fronts" represent what the antagonists will do without intervention. The "Response Algorithm" determines how they respond if and when the PCs show up.

How can I hook my players into inter- or intra-faction conflicts? Do players actually enjoy mechanics/minigames/story beats based on reputation, standing, or alliance—eg, faction missions, faction boons. Attached are the Seven Tribes of #KOKOTÖNA 's Teotekah Empire as food for thought.

By "hard to get into," I mean I've played in this setting—even written adventures and run games!"—every weak for over a year. 😅

I don't love robots. I never have. I made a pact with myself—decades ago!—to never prioritize digital simulacra over animal life. I'm a biochauvinist! This makes some scifi #TTRPG settings hard to get into, eg *Android: Shadow of the Beanstalk*, which has major themes of android "subjugation."

Working on some Condition and Status cards for my #AvatarLegends campaign. I'm combining the #AtLA title font with ancient Chinese "Seal Script" characters. I'm very excited about the initial design, although I'd like to make the calligraphy more prominent.

I've tried my hand at #bookbinding for the first time, inspired by @munkao.bsky.social's work-in-progress "Kala Mandala"! I did a rough job, because I didn't want to be a perfectionist about I, and I'm really enjoying flipping through this with friends!

K, ran my THIRD #AvatarLegends session. There was some disagreement whether we were doing a one-shot with pregens, or starting a new campaign, so we kinda did both? Also I arrived 2 hours late (due to unforseen circumstances). So: it happened. ✅❕

"Ran" another game of #Ironsworn, Monday. All I had to do was pull oracle cards and draw word pictures. It's a bit hard to take seriously, though. I had a much easier time getting immersed in #PirateBorg.

Finally got to play Gun It from Randy O. I've enjoyed his Roll-in-One so much, this is an accessible, interesting cooperative puzzle game. The themes are STRONG! It's got a lot of different game modes that I haven't tried yet.

I played #PirateBorg at @kublacon.bsky.social! It's a straightforward d20 system, but with excellent and thoroughly integrated genre trappings—it was a wicked blast w/ I had forgotten how frequent 1s and 20s are!

After co-authoring a mech #TTRPG setting, and running it for friends and strangers, I have unlocked a new level of enjoyment at amusement parks: Riding a roller-coaster while pretending it's my first time piloting a Gundam in combat.
