Been rewatching Digimon Adventure with some friends lately. We watched a scene Mimi was about to throw hands at some high ranked digimons and just about all of us were cheering her on. So I felt motivated to draw out that scene in my own way.

Decided to expand on one of the doodles I made of Tahula. Owl mom is not happy, and chances are it is Corvid's fault. Roll for initiative. :P

More facial practices, this time with Corvid's mom, Tahula. Her design is based on the spectacled owl. It was fun trying to work her expressions with that feathered cross on her face.

Had a mood to practice/tweak my DnD character, Corvid. Wanted to give them more muscle in their neck and work on the beak/feather top design. Looks like I'll need to work on it bit a more. :>

Been a long while since I drew one of my alien animals, the Bovyri. They are basically large cattle bugs in the Hygron setting. Usually quite docile creatures, but looks like this one is annoyed about something. :P

New dnd game, new character sheet. Amitan the bullywug, here to clap back with thunderclaps and inspire everyone in his class! Already getting some fun moments from the group. Just got to make sure this guy doesn't get into 1v2 fights all the time. :P

Started up a new DnD game with some friends and rolled up with the (totally not Anura) Bullywug Bard, Amitan. They are a feylost critter with a propensity of the performing arts. Just watch out for his Color Spray spell, he subs the martial cost for hot peppers. :P

Another attempt at doing a #Ghibli style pic, this time with Chlo swimming about with some fish on an alien planet. Also trying to keep with the idea that the image was pulled from the movie. I think my main lessons is that I think some of my art styling is carrying over to the Ghibli look.

With all the recent A'I slop of #Miyazaki / Studio #Ghibli arts going around, I felt the need to make my own art of their style. While I don't think I got the style right, I did have a lot of fun figuring out just how they do it. I'll be sure to use those lessons in my other works. :>

Spring time! Means warm weather and lots of pollen! Had to draw my Nectcargo in the spring charm. Looks like they attracted some Cutieflies and a Ribombee.

Studying Portuguese and just learned of the word "ultima/ultimo" to mean "last" or "final." Having always associated ultima to Final Fantasy, especially 6, will have me see this creature (Ultima Weapon) to mean "the final weapon." And man, what a fitting and chilling metaphor. :>
