My nearly 79-year old uncle just now about his late brother-in-law, my dad: I’ve never seen anything so unfair in my life. He was so healthy and always working to improve himself and he got the shit end of the stick and now I have no one to argue with. I told him he was becoming a socialist. 😭💗

Almost had Mr. SC and one of our boys sold on joining a family 5k turkey trot until they realized it would be 35° and they’d need to be ready to run at 7 this morning. So we ate Chinese food and watched Ted Lasso and The Last Waltz last night and slept in this morning instead. Solid choice.

Just read the menu I’m supposed to follow the week before my colonoscopy and I basically can’t eat anything I normally do. My kids are gonna be so confused and think I’ve given up on feeding us healthy whole foods.

If you were staying at a family member’s home and knew they were working on a puzzle with their child as a fun way to spend time together, would you work on the puzzle while they were at work/school without asking?

My child was sidelined by an injury in the spring and was in a boot/on crutches for 6 weeks. He then had only 2/8 weeks to get fit for HS soccer tryouts. He made the team but tried a defensive position for the first time bc he didn’t feel fit. Tonight he was named defensive player of the year! 💗💗💗
