LRP!!! YES. Get some of those car window sun reflector things or just fuck it, TINFOIL. Close up your windows. Use black out curtains and shove foil in any gaps with light. Not only will it help reflect the sunlight from trapping heat it your house but it will trap cool air in.

Seconding this. You can also adopt a serial killer base vibe and just stick tin foil up on the OUTSIDE of your windows (don't put alum on the inside you can crack the glass on older houses if it gets too hot). It'll cool your room down significantly
