In 2020, OpenSSL had a vuln related to the signature_algorithms_cert ext. openssl-library.org/news/secadv/... Palo Alto apparently "solved" this in their IPS by blocking connections with "unknown" algs in sigalg_cert. Six years later, we can't add ML-DSA to sigalg_cert in Go. sigalg_cert is dead.

Sometimes the #golang toolchain is slower on Windows not for the usual reasons, but simply because it’s largely shaped by Unix-first assumptions. Case in point: I just sent a change that speeds up some warm‑cache build commands on Windows by ~40%… by modifying 4 lines of code: go.dev/cl/787340
