After FK ▶️ Six whales (3 ID'd females) went to Península Valdés calving ground, Argentina, for up to 3 months 🐳 Three males went foraging in the SW Atlantic, incl South Orkney & South Shetland islands, Scotia Sea & Peninsula ❄️❄️ Nearly all foraged at the Patagonian Shelf in spring 3/3

Whales stayed locally for up to 2 months & mostly used the East #Falkland N/NE coast to breed & socialise 🐳🐳 🟩: Important Marine Mammal Area for right whales #IMMA 🔴: v slow movements, breeding/socialising 🟡: intermediate speed movements incl foraging ⚫: fast movements, travelling 2/3
