I rarely come on here anymore. Something unexpected happened to me about 5 years ago which means my time is taken up elsewhere now, but I quite miss this cozy little corner of the internet and the friends I've got who followed me over from the bird app. I quite miss chatting rubbish with everyone.

Thinking back to last night on the tube when a man pulled out a mini disc player, changed the disc and pressed play again. Everyone in the carriage stared at it like they were looking at an exhibit in Ripley's Believe It Or Not. Yes, I was one of them. A mini disc player out in the wild. Amazing.

I'm watching the new Frankenstein film and Oscar Isaac really is the most underrated actor. One of those rare non English actors who can do a flawless English accent. I realise great acting is not just about being able to do an accent well, but he really is tremendous. #frankenstein #moviesky

Saw this at LFF last night. Best film of the festival (so far) and probably the best film I've seen all year. Not an easy watch by any means but completely brilliant.

Anyway, it's been a terrible old week. My good friend, the journalist & writer Peter Gould died on Tuesday. He was the kindest man and the most supportive friend. He loved films and I miss not messaging him about what he's seen this week and his thoughts on the BAFTAS. He enjoyed all that nonsense.

I'm just going to assume for an amused moment that Prince Wills not turning up for the #BAFTA awards this year is because he was terrified Kneecap were going to win and rightly call out the ongoing Colonialist bullshit going on in the north of Ireland.
