Leaving a great CETUP workshop - interesting work being done on gravitational waves, composite dark matter, axions, and dark matter dynamics in general. Thanks
@fermilab.bsky.social
and Sanford underground lab for hosting a great meeting.

A bit late, but happy that our work was published in PRL last week! With Melissa Diamond and
@joebramante.bsky.social
, we explored a new way to search for diffuse clumps of dark matter if dark matter and photons interact. Check it out!

Dimming Starlight with Dark Compact Objects
Compact objects formed from dark matter could be detected by examining the dimming of background light when the dark objects pass across the line of sight with Earth.

Easy to overlook the excellent low background science, but it's at the heart of the most cutting edge astroparticle science.
