Two wonderful alt-folk and trad folk releases that I’ve mastered here recently. First up is ‘The Frog, The Mouse, The Ship, The Cabin Boy’ by @bitybooker.bsky.social which is something else. And second is the superb compilation ‘Sing Yonder 2’ curated by @karlsinfield.bsky.social. Big recommends.

I seem to have become a top-down mixer and I’ve no idea how or when it happened. Seems to be working though (I hope).

Tonight I was in a pub with a bunch of artists (of a variety of disciplines) and just felt so uncool and mostly out of my depth. I’m not alone, right? Always the bridesmaid syndrome. Z

I have been at @highpeakrecordings.bsky.social today doing vocals for what will hopefully be a forthcoming HawaiiWorms release, but I forgot to take any photos whatsoever so you'll just have to imagine it. It was so much fun though.

Drove from Oxfordshire home to Derbyshire yesterday in nearly constant fog. Scary. But it did lift at one point to give us this view as the sun set.
