Thank you to everyone who came to our 5th anniversary event at the UK National Memorial Wall and who joined us on our Walk of Memories. It was powerful and moving to share our grief as we remembered our beloved dead. We will never forget them. ❤️

We can assure you that to the families of the dead represented on our Wall, who were unable to be with their dying loved ones because they obeyed rules made by and then cynically flouted by those in power, it was not just 'a bit of cake'. It was devastating. Breathtaking insensitivity by Madeley.

The volunteers (in person and online) continue to have positive meetings with the DCMS on the future of the wall. ❤️

Five years after the pandemic began, we are still updating the number of covid dead. ❤️

The weather was cold, but our hearts were warm as we received this incredibly generous £1650 donation from Tim, Nikki, Bess and Rosie, who took on the 3-peaks 48-hour Tatras challenge in Poland in memory of Pat and Jan, who are remembered on the wall. Thank you so much! ❤️

Two dates for your diary: Today @dcmsgovuk.bsky.social and @lisanandymp.bsky.social announced March 9th as the 2025 Day of Reflection. March 29th 2025 is the 4th anniversary of the memorial wall. We will be holding events at the wall on both days. ♥️

On the final day of Module 3 of the Covid Inquiry it was an honour for the volunteers to have a visit from leading voices of CATA (Covid Airborne Transmission Alliance). We are so appreciative of their tireless efforts to get the government to accept that covid is airborne. ❤️
