#MufasaTheLionKing is an unexpected blood-thirsty prequel w/ stunning visuals and cinematography but contains subpar songs that don’t advance a contrived story. It’s fine for those interested learning about Mufasa and Taka’s origins. At least the humor provides laughs and levity.

NTERIOR CHINATOWN (Hulu) is amazing. Charles Yu took his incredible book, which was kinda unfilmable, and fashioned an enthralling, linear storyline w/memorable characters and relationships. It also happens to be a heartbreaking commentary about the tragedy of being Asian-American in pop culture.

This is how I feel with “What Could Be Better Than This?” I mean, why does it even exist? I will admit that “Get Lost” didn’t resonate with me at first but it is growing on me with more listens.

If America finally defeats Trumpism one day in the distant future, Republican legislators will try to argue they had no choice but to do as they did. Remember that Korea proved otherwise.

#SkeletonCrew has strong #Amblin vibes and is a great introduction of the #StarWars mythology for kids who may be too young to watch the films. Space pirates, kids in space, and Jude Law looking like he’s having a blast. Uncomplicated and very fun. What more could you ask for?
