Raiden and Liu Kang’s forgive and forget act is understandable, but not being knowledge feels tone-deaf, and it’s not in Kung Lao’s character to forgive easily over brutal colonization

Even as a 3D era fan, I think people sometimes glaze that era too much. Shao Kahn being a former god of Outworld who nerfed himself just to poison Onaga is just wut. A ruthless war general who betrays Onaga actually fits asian tropes better, with the Dragon-emperor and Tiger-general rivalry
