Great news for everyone who complained about my videos being out of sync! I received some helpful advice from @arcticdba.se , and now use a clapper to ensure that the audio and video are synchronized. It works like magic ☺️!

Does anyone have suggestions for video editing? I spend massive amounts of time editing videos, and often, I am not even happy with the result (but post it anyway, so it is not even due to perfectionism). I looked at the usual websites, but paying $80 for 3 minutes of content editing is too much.

👀 Just finished recording a new Power BI video and my husband walks by and casually drops “Did you know that you say I axis instead of Y axis”. - I did not, for the past 2 years I presented and recorded videos talking about the I axis 🫠.

We made some friends in Prague (no worries, we did not feed them). I did not know how cute muskrats are! ❤️

Just finished a panel discussion at #PowerConference2024 about #WomenInTech with the amazing @nathleenders.bsky.social and Angeliki Patsiavou. It was so great to see how many people where interested and also wanted to share their experience. Time flew by!

Look at how optimistic I was before creating a new DP-700 video (with great input from @2meterdba.bsky.social). Everything went smoothly - done in 20 minutes, and then the export scrambled the audio, leading to 2 hours of fixes. I should have just re-recorded it. tinyurl.com/5afn7mct #DP700

These 2 also just came back from their holidays. The flock is back together ❤️. This is one of the best feelings, coming home from traveling and cuddling with the birds.

This trip keeps getting better and better! We went on a whale-watching tour and saw some Orcas, humpbacks, and minke whales. 🐋 8 months ago, I was seriously injured, and in the past month, I often wondered if I would ever be able to enjoy life like I did before. I can! ❤️❤️❤️

Best part about bringing the husband with me when going to conferences - making memories together 😊! He only joins 2-3 times a year and having him with me in Seattle was great! (Also I am doing 1000% more sightseeing and hiking when he joins 🫣😂)
