People going "America was always fascist" or "it's been like this since the 1980s" or making related claims don't seem to realize it, but they're telling everyone that nothing different is happening, nothing worse than usual, so if you weren't up in arms about eg 2013, you shouldn't be now either.

Absolutely correct...do not cave. The pain Dems might try to lessen, will only make Trump go for more! The Republicans can put a stop to the madness...they won't...nor can they govern. GOP and Trump own it all!!

DC Republicans claim to care about the middle class while they’re cutting their health care and raising prices. In North Carolina, we expanded Medicaid and got health care to more than 675,000 of our friends and neighbors. Actions speak louder than words.

DC politicians are more interested in helping billionaires get richer while North Carolinians struggle to stay afloat. We need to focus on the hardworking folks who need a hand; the elites are doing just fine.

People are being robbed. The answer to that is not shame or anger. The answer is empathy and compassion.
