Released on 25th (or 26th) May 1987 (depending where you are), Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me, the first Cure album I purchased. It remains my favourite double album ever and was bought to help with my GCSE revision. It didn’t help but it did cement my love for the band, so it wasn’t all bad. #TheCure

A day after celebrating the birthday of Diamond Dogs, today is the 47th anniversary of the release of David Bowie’s #Lodger album. Number five in my all-time top five Bowie albums. Obviously it’s no Low or “Heroes” but it’s an enjoyable romp all the same and is worthy of more acclaim and attention.
