The global health community is calling on Congress to reject the $9.4 Billion #Rescissions Package. Continued U.S. investment in #GlobalHealth is a strategic imperative for national security, economic stability & American leadership.

There is no indication that the White House consulted with Congress before proposing the #rescissions package. These funds were just appropriated by Congress just months ago.

Questions remain about how the Trump Admin will comply with legal requirements for obligating funds under the Impoundment Control Act and existing appropriations language, raising concerns about adherence to Congressional intent.
