Through targeted provincial C-STEP funding, @CranbrookRCMP carried out 197 hotspot patrols, opened 75 investigations, recommended 29 charges to prosecutors, and reduced overdose response calls. Public safety investments deliver strong, measurable results. B.C.’s Crime Severity Index fell 11% in 2024 — the largest drop in Canada and our lowest level in six years.
