This weekend in Muncie, while Democrats were inside holding a town hall-Republican state rep Elizabeth Rowray was outside, taking video and pictures of the people leaving the building.

The Indiana Republicans made a choice. That choice means the bottom 97% of Hoosiers are paying for the private schools of the richest 3%. They made a choice-to take care of their rich campaign donors, while the rest of us are stuck with the check.

Yesterday Victoria Spartz said “if you break the law you’re not entitled to due process” today she just had a woman arrested at her Town Hall in Muncie. She must think she’s still in Soviet Russia.

Spending the day accompanying my dad at the VA for his medical appointments. These people are working their asses off to take care of our veterans, while their resources get stripped by a guy who used bone spurs to get out of serving in Vietnam.

The congresswoman who represents our district, Victoria Spartz, voted against the FAA re-authorization act. Amongst other things, this bill increased air traffic control hiring targets.

Indiana has the highest rate of veteran suicide in the Midwest, and a rate three times higher three times higher than that of the civilian population. Indiana also had its highest rate of unattended firearm deaths for children this past year. (1/3)

I served with one of the helicopter pilots who lost his life yesterday in DCA. I was a 2P on one of his first trips in VQ-3 and remember him being a funny and young motivated sailor. Everyone who served with him is mourning his loss. Our hearts are heavy.

The Republican supermajority blocked an amendment to reclassify cannabis in Indiana from a schedule I substance. Indiana republicans are treating Marijuana the same as heroin and fentanyl.

Today I testified on a bill to support small businesses who hire members of the reserves and National Guard. I also testified to restore state tuition benefits that were stripped from disabled Hoosier veterans in 2011.
