Yesterday a friend went to a private clinic where they "inadvertently" spilled a caustic substance into his eye. Soon after he contacted the clinic and headed to Emerg (5 hr wait). They said "Oh, here is the long list of warnings." Too late. The eye may be too damaged to ever see again.
