What @bigfinish.bsky.social releases aren't directly Christmas / festive linked but you often find yourself returning to them during the festive season? I think (not just because of Chimes) that Mcgann is a very fitting doctor for winter, the plot arcs make for a reassuring thread.

Mango the clothes shop has decided 2006 Time lord is this season's fashion... Obviously the heels are a must for a 100% authentic cosplay.

My bedtime routine currently consists of me clicking play on 'Jago & Litefoot' and half listening as I drift off. Because I'm so familiar with this world & it's characters it makes for a really comforting background sound.

Currently travelling home from my stay in London. An Incredibly memorable weekend, happy memories made. Massive thank you to everyone who I met or who came to say hello on the day - it makes the event even more special.

Watched 'The Jetty' recently, it has been on my catch up list for a while. Very good drama, Jenna was great as Ember. All 4 episodes flew by. I hope that we get to see more in the future.

I completely forgotten about this scene at the end of 'Last Tango in Halifax' series 2 and since watching it - Its been living in my head rent free😭❤️ Only have a few episodes to go on my binge watch now.

The Chimes novel doesn't mention the all important Bentley instead it's a Daimler. So whilst the Doctor & Frederick are debating Chrysler or Daimler I'm sat here like "NO ITS A BENTLEY GET IT RIGHT!" 😂 It's adding an extra layer to this already ridiculous scenario.

The Last Tango in Halifax "previously" edits are so effective & satisfying to watch? Perfectly selected scenes, mixing together not only the episode prior but beyond too. Despite multiple series it feels like one big seamless story. I've never seen a show do this so well!

Currently watching Wilfred Mott & The Third Doctor in disguise on Talking Pictures TV.

It goes without saying, any Doctor Who missing episode being returned to the archive will be amazing. It's probably unlikely but my hope is always on the Hartnell historicals. The Massacre especially, being able to see Bill Abbot of Amboise would be such a treat.

Went to a National Trust property today for a nice autumn morning out... Can't bloody escape this damn show can I. 😂 I appear to be getting an interest in collecting the 2000's 9th & 10th doctor books AND this TORCHWOOD has been on my list for a long time to check out.

Working my way through 'Last Tango in Halifax' from start to finish because... well Derek Jacobi obviously. Really loving this world and its characters, the way life unfolds around them.

Listening to Blair Mowat's soundtrack for 'The Guest'. WOW. We are so lucky to have him associated with the DW universe and the music for @bigfinish.bsky.social TORCHWOOD. I'm convinced he is going to be one of those names in the future where we will like: "YEAH! He did music for DW!"

Just finished 'The Cut Throat Trial' this morning 📚 Absolutely captivated by it, I purposefully paced my reading to let moments & characters dwell. It's grim, it's twisty, bleak, funny, with a depth and legal understanding that other legal fictions lack.

Twitter can be pretty bleak / frustrating these days but Facebook... What on earth has that descended into? Endless AI slop of labradors "saving people" and posts informing me John Hurt has "sadly passed away"? It's not even worth a minute scrolling.

Absolutely gutted Vera didn't win the NTA for returning drama. I have all my fingers crossed that Brenda gets a special recognition award.

Of course there had to be a Dalek one. And isn’t it a beauty? Monday sees the opening of ‘Brave New Worlds: A Century of Science Fiction Cinema’, a new exhibition of paintings by the preposterously talented @barnabyedwards.bsky.social. It’s at Exeter Picturehouse from 1st September. Do come along!
