This is who ICE murdered today. From every truthful source that I have heard about him, he sounds like he was a wonderful human and excellent nurse. The heart-wrenching video shows him protecting a woman being assaulted by ice right before they murdered him. A hero lost too soon.

Nurses like this are worth more than their weight in gold. It is a travesty that Alex was murdered by our government while protecting another human, which you can clearly see in videos that have some out from different angles. It is devastating. May he rest in power.

As a physician, this absolutely terrifies me. Unlike measles, which I have not seen in person due to our previously good efforts at vaccination, bacterial meningitis is something I have seen in my career. It is a nightmare illness and a “do not miss” diagnosis because of high mortality rate.

Tonight we held space with a crowd (maybe 75? Photo was taken early) in Conway, NH, to honor the life of Renee Good who was murdered by ICE. We shared music and reflection, poetry, and were offered prayer. May her memory be a blessing.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I wish the men (RFK Jr, mainly) making these deliberately false statements could experience a colposcopy and cervical biopsy for an HPV-positive abnormal pap, but they will never have to. They are unqualified to speak on the matter.
