Camping in Norway and was woken in the middle of the night by a sheep enthusiastically inspecting / tasting / trying the enter the tent. She was even wearing a bell. Quite an odd experience really.

Well this makes me ridiculously happy. Løvstien parkrun in Norway 🇳🇴. Lovely spot along the ridge overlooking the town, ludicrously green. Very welcoming local crew. I remain a terrible runner, it wasn't my choice of hemisphere holding me back.

Travelling with extremely patient mates means being able to kind of recreate my photo from this spot in Akihabara in 2009. Did not find a matching loon or potato to take the photo with this time. Close enough. Progress is hard.

Everyone has a teamlab Tokyo photo, this one is mine. What a place. Yes, my entire vibe is asking a mate to take a photo and then getting immediately distracted by the changing lights. Now I need to release an album. (There will be more sensible photos later)

Finally taking my yahtzee game global. Exhausted. Been a while. (google photos likes to make me jaunty little trauma collages, two years ago this week I was starting chemo. This is probably a better day and I will absolutely be annoying about it)

Interesting perspective. The thing that I wonder about a lot is how people develop sufficient expertise to judge/handle the tooling. If we can get a volume of answers and insights more quickly, how do we build the muscle memory for more analysis?

I can't believe I renovated my bathroom and didn't even think about putting in a listerine fountain. What even is the point of making decisions of minor convenience if not this?

There should be a government run service that you can call to see if you should get a haircut before a longer holiday to avoid being an accidental mullet promoter.

historians are divided on whether trump was actually a real person, or the stories of a large series of petty tyrants over a period of perhaps 100 years whose stories got merged and blended together back when AI was unsophisticated and new

After the news cycle about Hanson's divisive silliness I kept thinking about this story, and the reflection of the value and care in our multicultural society. (and healthcare workers are the best of us)

I stood for hours in bitter cold to hear him say, “We will replace the frigidity of rugged individualism with the warmth of collectivism.” Today, not 6 months later, in the heat, in the same spot, millions made that manifest: “What a gift it is to be brought together by pure, unfiltered joy.”

Wild budgies drinking at a dam in the southern Flinders Ranges. I am hopeful that this coming summer will be a good season for budgies again - following on from all this rain. They are highly nomadic and you can never be sure where they'll show up.

"At a time of surging anti-migrant rhetoric, the longtime friends who met playing school sport and their teammates — the Socceroos' 26-man squad come from at least 15 cultural and ethnic backgrounds — are a reflection of modern Australia where nearly one in three are born overseas."
