Spent half the drive tonight worried that I'd forgotten to pack my medication and I'd need to rush home early to resupply. Through fluke and inattention I actually had the exact volumes needed in my bag. Massive relief. I may not be the luckiest person in the world but I've got to be top 5.

Canberra Centenary trail quest - part 10 (Mt Ainslie Junction to Federal Hwy via Mt Majura Summit). 15km walk through mostly delightful terrain and inexplicably a section of hwy. Plenty of new-to-me sections and a couple of echidnas to close out the segment. As it should be.

Lovely morning out on the rocky trails for Stromlo Running Festival. Even high fived Deeks as the start line. My main lesson is that I should not join events which require a snake bite kit as mandatory equipment (but mostly that trail running is maybe not for me).

Traffic cone fans must be absolutely pumped getting around Canberra at the moment. Feels like about 40% of arterial roads are undergoing major work. Absolute cone bonanza.

Just tried on every piece of clothing I own as I was annoyed at having nothing that fits or only owning things that feel pyjama adjacent. Massive pile to donate or store but what a slog. I will of course learn nothing from this.
