When pre-rendered backgrounds and anime sprites combine: one of my favourite first-time experiences of last year and first ever PC-FX game playthrough: Team Innocent: The Point of No Return. It's not a great game (the combat is especially poor and feels token), but it's one worth experiencing.

Working on some smooth low-poly 3D tiles, for subterranean environments. Having trouble with Blender, getting the sharp seams/normals to be shared across different tile shapes. Tricky to get the edges pointing the same kind of forward, but keep the vertical smoothing. Like the general look though!

Doing more train work for today's #NightmareKart dev thread! To start, I worked on adding proper collision to the train, as well as damaging players who get caught under the wheels. I also added power ups underneath some cars to hint at the possibility of driving underneath.
