Kicking off #BISA2025 we attended the key note lecture by Cynthia Enloe, chaired by Marsha Henry. The lecture was an engaging conversation about who is considered "canon fodder" and why people become canon fodder, as well as the role of military recruitment from a feminist perspective.

We spent the morning in conversation with Cynthia Enloe at St Comgall's Ionad EIleen Howell. It was a super engaging session on why we need to keep going, keep educating and keep learning as both activists and educators! A big thank you to the Women's Assembly for organising!
