Something I worked on a bit ago when Nightreign was still unreleased was adding bow criticals. Had to implement it a bit differently to let it be compatible with different ammos, which means that you can crit with R2 as well.

Since it's a full heal, I thought it'd be nice if embering (and using a divine blessing) removed the jailer's HP reduction. This is because they're full heal+status cleanse effects, and because lmao to jailers.

Messing with embering also curing statuses, making it basically a divine blessing. I think this is alright since it already does a full heal, and makes embering mid-encounter more meaningful.

Testing the 100mb video limit with something I was messing with - having the Shrine Handmaid act more like ER's Twin Maiden where NPC shops are added as a distinct option, instead of being part of the main shop. Doing this to make it easier to add items to NPC shops, or add new NPC shops.

Making some tweaks to certain weapon infusion names, was surprised this ends up fitting lol (It's for bleed infused bleed weapons)

Starscourge Greatswords's new 2h moveset is about done. R1s, R2s, running R1, running R2 (combos straight into second R2, which feels really slick), roll, backstep, jump R1, jump R2, bash attack. The only thing I kept was the roll and jump R1 (which is now the jump R2), the rest is all new.

Running R2, jump R1, new R1 chain, and R2. WIP Complete overhaul of the Starscourge Greatswords.

Concept for parrying ranged enemies. Not sure about whether they'd be parry-able right before they fire, and maybe any time that they're aiming.

I have a system for tweaking the rotations of certain bones, so a thing I like to do is mess around and try to create poses by tweaking others. Here's a few guard poses I did that I really like.

The shield, in turn, gains boosted damage and knockback on its shield bash while Golden Vow is active. The Golden Halberd also has some Greatspear moves thrown in (running/backstep R1) to mix up its Longhaft Axe moveset, and, uniquely among its class, it can shieldpoke.

Doing the Tree Sentinel justice. Not only is the Golden Halberd now part of the new Longhaft Axe class, it now also has a unique effect. While under the effect of any version of Golden Vow, you gain a mini-Endure (reduced defense boost) effect during heavy attacks.

I think Flexile Sentry is another weird boss that could be fun if they brought it back for Nightreign. It probably wouldn't an ideal candidate for an end of night boss, but as a miniboss, it'd have a fun interaction with the multiplayer angle in that it could attack players on either side of it.

DS3 Reforged: Repeating Crossbow I've thought it'd be fun if the Repeating Crossbow was capable of, well, repeatedly firing outside of the skill, so I've made it so that as long as you start firing, you can keep firing with it.

Even if slight, something I liked from Elden Ring and Lies of P is how you were able to keep moving while picking up items, so I've decided to replicate that for DS3.

I have a funny story about Lies of P. The #1 reason I want to play it started when I added Iron Ball to Nightfall, ~2 years before Lies of P came out. Iron Ball is my favorite souls item. Years later, I found out that Lies of P basically had Iron Ball. Could this be a fate...?

Did another playthrough of Lies of P after a while, forgot how satisfying it plays/feels and the unique ideas it brings to the table. I'm a little dumb tho so i wish that fable arts had their names so i had an easier time remembering what i have 😔

Hey folks! Long time no see, glad to see video support got added while I was away. Now that Elden Ring DLC enemy randomizer is (relatively) stable at v0.11.1, I got around to updating Elden Resizer! so here is a short trailer for it.

There was a thing in DS1 where lightning attacks made you flail around/convulse like fire attacks, so I've done the same thing in DS3 along with some other kinds of attacks. Here is with lightning and the Gnaw spells since those are swarms of biting insects.

Fun fact about DS3's Rose of Ariandel: It is one of the only spell casting tools with luck scaling, which allows it to scale status buildup of spells. In practice this affects the Gnaw spells, so the Rose is slightly better at bleeding with those.

DS3 Reforged: Posture Edits A while back, I discovered there was an unused system for tweaking the player's arms and wrists. With this system, I made custom posture adjustments to various weapons that I felt looked nicer or were more interesting looking. Here's a few examples. #DarkSouls3

Something I find interesting about DS1's guard mechanics is being guard broken by some* attacks will still have you take damage and also the stagger of the attack, like being pancaked. Hoping a DS1 knowledger can explain some things, since I don't really see it talked about too much.
