Here's a demo of the dual Wakizashi moveset so far! A paired weapon featuring animations from Ninja Blade as well as Elden Ring's powerstance katana moveset. The weapon art is a simple parry at the moment, but I'm considering giving it Onikiri and Ubadachi's cut stance from DS3.

Ported the rest that were shared! They could still use touchups here and there but overall I'm pretty satisfied.

Starting to port some Ninja Blade animations! Thanks to WindShadowRuins on ?ServerName? for providing them a while back. Spent lots of time trying to make the backhand grip transitions good. Haven't decided on weapons that will use these yet. Maybe a dual wakizashi paired weapon?

@xenthos.bsky.social taught me how to retarget stuff from ER/DS3 for DS1! Some WIPs of the first stuff I did: the one-handed swings from Godslayer Greatsword and Daggers from ER, and the Blind Spot weapon art from DS3!

Since my mod will have weapon skills, and Dark Souls 1 doesn't have FP or an FP bar, I'm canning durability altogether and introducing "weapon art charges." Different weapons will have different amounts of charges available to use. These will refill overtime but prevent spamming.

Tried out UMVC3 Community Edition and made a costume for Monster Hunter! Playtesting it alone has logged me more hours on the game than ever before, funnily enough. Last time I touched MVC, I didn't really know how to play fighting games lol. This moveset is really fun though!

Been rebalancing armors and stuff for the mod and noticing a lot of funny things, like Ornstein's armor for some reason having higher fire defense than lightning defense, when the boss is weak to fire... and each piece's description specifically highlighting their high lightning defense... lol

I ported like, 35 guard counter animations from ER to my mod yesterday? I'd only set up straight swords before. Now I need to very slowly and tediously add the proper sounds and stuff ugh lol
