✨blood tests came back ok, so yay, although having ‘unremarkable’ blood felt vaguely insulting 😆 still waiting on mri bits ✨mum starts chemo tomorrow..no messing around. Barely a month since diagnosis ✨Meredith has been invited to work (early) Christmas lunch next wk. She’s practicing her judgement

MRI check in day was made much easier with the magic of drugs. Now just waiting for results to see if the other, monthly stabby drug is helping stop the encroaching lesions 🤞 Also this one is being a silly..

Over the years I’ve gleefully taught other peoples dogs how to pull socks from feet, all while having angel babies who would never dream of partaking in such shenanigans. Today Meredith has taught herself how to do it. Karma is real.

Saw multiple eye specialists who all agreed with yesterday’s one that I need an MRI because my eyes themselves are fine. Finally had the MRI .. did not enjoy, nearly freaked out in the damn tube but I’m now free of the confined evil and head-holding torture device. Now more waiting.

Night 2 is a go.. and I sigh. At least I have jammies and earphones now. Night 1 in jeans was an experience that I didn’t appreciate. Also finally have a phone charger; trying to conserve battery all day did not bring me joy. Dear NHS, warn someone they’re staying overnight when you drag them in plz
