I find there's always at least one person following me who doesn't know this: The first kiss between two Transformers in TF fiction was between Arcee, a transgender (yes you read that right) lesbian, and Aileron, another female Autobot. Also the original voice actor is a gay woman. Arcee is ours.

Feeling like even IDW Transformers felt way more alien the way they described different relationships but Skybound feels like it’s just kinda forcing human heteronormative dynamics on alien robots by basically making the Autobot leaders the “mom and dad.” Or maybe it’s the fandom being annoying idk.

Just read Skybound 20. I’m not as upset as I thought I guess. I think some stuff was inevitable but also clearly the writer isn’t planning things ahead or thinking about possible arcs and it shows?

Someone leaked Skybound Transformers spoilers… Unsurprising what happens in it but I’m pretty pissed about multiple things so get ready for me to start bitching about the confused character writing again after I’ve just started to enjoy it the last few months RIP.

Many of the elements in shows like Earthspark are no worse than some of the most popular Transformers shows like TFP yet it gets eviscerated twice as much. Curious!

Anyway I hope Skybound Megatron is like a fucked up cult leader/mafia boss type.

I KEEP FLIPFLOPPING ON SKYBOUND TRANSFORMERS like it’s genuinely written so well mostly but there’s some parts where I go HUH. The one character relationship I heavy invest in though is TC & Skywarp, maybe Astrotrain? Depends on what they do, hope it’s not a random woman who exists to die (manpain).

I want to be excited about Cyberworld but I don’t know… Megabull sounds funny though.
